Residents of Cardiff have noticed police planes circling over the city for several hours today. These planes, which travelled from Nottingham and Chester, are speculated to be part of the preparations for the upcoming visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The royals are set to visit the Senedd in Cardiff Bay on Thursday to commemorate 25 years of devolution in Wales. During their visit, they will be greeted by the Royal Welsh regiment, primary school children from across Wales, and a civic delegation including Wales’ presiding officer and the First Minister of Wales.
