Wales Air Ambulance landed in the playground of Pennar Community School in Pembroke Dock on Wednesday, July 10, to respond to a medical emergency. The charity’s Dafen-based crew arrived at 12:52 PM and concluded their involvement by 1:08 PM.
The school promptly assured families via Facebook that no students were involved in the incident. Their message read, “We would like to inform you that the air ambulance has just landed on the school grounds. We would like to reassure you that this does not involve any of our pupils.”
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the details, stating, “I can confirm that Wales Air Ambulance attended a medical emergency in the Pembroke Dock area on Wednesday 10 July. Our Dafen-based crew attended by air, arriving on scene at 12.52 PM. Our involvement concluded at 1:08 PM.”
This marks the second time within 48 hours that Wales Air Ambulance has been dispatched to Pembrokeshire. On Monday, the service responded to a collision between an e-scooter and a car in Milford Haven, resulting in one person being airlifted to the hospital.
